  1. 4 1/2 T. vegetable oil

  2. 4 1/2 T. all-purpose flour

  3. 1 to 2 dashes white pepper

  4. 1 to 2 dashes cayenne pepper

  5. 1/8 tsp. paprika

  6. 1/4 tsp. salt

  7. 1 can condensed chicken broth

  8. 1 can water

  1. Preparation : Cook the oil and flour for 10 to 15 minutes over low heat, making sure that the mixture browns but does not burn. Add remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
