Pears In Caramel Cream

PEARS IN CARAMEL CREAM

6 Pears -- firm - peeled, cored

- and quarteered

3/4 c Sugar

2 tb Butter (or marg.)

1 c Whipping cream

Place pears in a buttered shallow baking pan; sprinkle with sugar, and dot

475 degrees for 15 minutes or until sugar turns

brown; baste several times. Pour cream over pears, stirring gently. Bake 2

additional minutes. Serve hot.
