  2. PEARS IN CARAMEL CREAM

  6. 6 Pears -- firm - peeled, cored

  7. - and quarteered

  8. 3/4 c Sugar

  9. 2 tb Butter (or marg.)

  10. 1 c Whipping cream

  11. Place pears in a buttered shallow baking pan; sprinkle with sugar, and dot

  12. 475 degrees for 15 minutes or until sugar turns

  13. brown; baste several times. Pour cream over pears, stirring gently. Bake 2

  14. additional minutes. Serve hot.
