  1. 2 1/2 lbs baking potatoes

  2. 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine

  3. 1/2 cup sour cream

  4. 1/3 cup pesto sauce , your favorite store bought salt white pepper

  1. Peel and chop potatoes. Place in large pot and fill with cold water until potatoes are just covered.

  2. Bring to a boil and cook until tender (approx 15-20 minutes) until fork tender, drain, completely.

  3. Transfer potatoes to a large bowl and start to mash.

  4. Stir in butter, sour cream and pesto sauce.

  5. Season with salt and white pepper.

  6. Serve warm. ?
