  2. 1 cookie pie shell

  3. 1 cup confectioner's sugar

  4. 1 tsp. cinnamon

  5. 1 tsp. ginger

  6. 1/8 tsp. salt

  7. 3 eggs separated

  8. 1 1/2 cups mashed cooked pumpkin

  9. 2/3 cup heavy cream whipped

  1. Add sugar, spices, salt and slightly beaten egg yolks to pumpkin and cookover boiling water till thickened. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, thencream. Pour into refrigerator tray and partially freeze. Pack into pieshell. Serve at once.

  2. MAKES 9 inch pieCookie Pie Shell:

  3. 1 1/2 cups fine crumbs, gingersnaps1/4 cup sugar1/2 cup butter, meltedMix crumbs and sugar together; stir in butter. Line pan with mixture bypressing firmly into place. Chill 20 minutes or bake in moderate oven(350=B0) 10 minutes. Cool.

  4. MAKES 1 (9 inch) pie shell
