  2. 1 Cup sugar

  3. 1/3 Cup white Karo

  4. 1/3 cup water

  5. 1/4 Cup butter

  6. 3/4 Teaspoon salt

  7. 3/4 Teaspoon vanilla

  8. 3 Quart popped popcorn

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix all ingredients except the vanilla. Cook untilmixture reaches 270 degrees, or brittle ball. Take off heat and stir invanilla. Pour over the popcorn, and stir lightly and quickly to coat.

  2. Shapequickly with butter coated hands (important - the butter keeps the syrupfrom sticking to and burning your hands). Note: If desired, foodcoloring can be added before cooking.
