  1. 1 Jar (12 oz.) damson plum -preserves

  2. 1 c Dark corn syrup

  3. 1/2c Soy sauce

  4. 3/4c Finely chopped green onion

  5. 2 Cloves galic, minced

  6. 2 ts Ground ginger

  7. 4 lb Spareribs, cut into 4" -riblets

  1. + Directions : Ginger Plum Spareribs In saucepan, stir together plum preserves, corn syrup, soy sauce, green onions, galic and ginger. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 5 min. Remove 1 cup of this mixture and reserve. Place spareribs in shallow baking dish. Pour remaining corn syrup mixture over ribs. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hrs. Place ribs on rack in broiler pan and broil 6" from heat, turning and basting every 5 min. with marinade for 35-40 min. or until browned and crispy. Heat reserved corn syrup mixture and serve with ribs and cooked rice. Serves 4.
