  1. 2 cups 396g / 13oz Butternut squash - peel, seed, & chop (medium)

  2. 6 tablespoons 90ml Butter

  3. 6 tablespoons 90ml Brown sugar

  4. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Nutmeg

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cinnamon

  6. 1 Pepper

  7. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Pecans - chopped

  8. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Corn flakes - crushed

  9. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Apples - peeled and sliced

  1. Steam squash until tender. Mash with 1/4 cup butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and spices.

  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add corn flakes, pecans, 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Toss until coated.

  3. In greased 2 quart casserole, layer apples and squash. Top with corn flakes. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350F.
