  8. 1/2 cup FResh ramen noodles (bamee) -- cut in half or 1 pkg

  9. broken in half

  10. 1/4 cup Shrimps -- shelled and deveined

  11. 1/4 cup Lean pork -- sliced thinly

  12. bite-sized pieces

  13. 1/4 cup Black fungus (cloud ear)

  14. Soaked in water till soft

  15. 3/4 cup Red or yellow onions

  16. Slcd thinly and separated

  17. 1/4 cup (or to taste) chilies -- pounded corsely

  18. 1 tablespoon Chopped garlic

  19. 6 tablespoons Lime juice

  20. 6 tablespoons Fish sauce

  21. Romaine lettuce leaves

  22. Cut into bite-sized pces

  23. 1-2 T sugar *YUM BAMEE In a large pot, bring water to a rapid boil. Place

  24. the noodles in colander or strainer and lower into the water. Parboil until

  25. noodles look somewhat clear (until soft for instant ramen). Drain and rinse

  26. briefly with water. Fluff the noodles with a fork and set aside to drain

  27. some more.

  28. Heat the water up again and cook shrimps, pork and cloud ears the same way

  29. as noodles. Drain well. Now combine all the ingredients, except the

  30. lettuce, together well in a large bowl. Place the lettuce on a serving

  31. platter or plate. Spoon the salad on top and serve immediately. Makes about - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
