  1. 1 very large onion , finely chopped

  2. 3 cloves garlic , finely chopped

  3. 1/2 cup butter

  4. 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  5. 1 cup bottled water

  6. 1 1/3 cups bottled chili sauce

  7. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  8. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  9. 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce

  10. 1/2 tablespoon mustard

  11. 1/2 lemon , juice of

  12. 1 can beer (chef's choice)

  13. black pepper , to taste

  1. In a saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic in the butter.

  2. When the onions are transparent, add everything else.

  3. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 15 minutes OR until you can't stand the amazing aroma!

  4. Store refrigerated.
