  1. 3/4 lb 340g / 11oz Lean ground beef

  2. 3/4 cup 177ml Spicy spaghetti sauce

  3. 1 Pizza crust - pre-baked, round

  4. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Green onions - chopped

  5. 1 cup 237ml Monterey Jack - shredded

  1. In large skillet, heat 1 tsp vegetable oil over medium heat; add beef and cook, breaking up meat with back of spoon, for 4-5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Drain off fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper.

  2. Place pizza crust on baking sheet; spread sauce over crust. Sprinkle with green onions; scatter shredded cheese over top. Bake in 400F 200C oven for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

  3. Vegetables may be added to the sauce. Corn is colorful. Asiago cheese may be used in lieu of Monterey Jack.

  4. Serve with a crisp, fresh lettuce and crunchy cucumber salad tossed with Ranch dressing.
