  1. 1 lb linguine pasta

  2. Sauce

  3. 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

  4. 3 large cloves garlic, finely chopped

  5. 1/2 tsp salt

  6. 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

  7. 1/4 cup finely chopped Italian parsley

  8. 1 1/2 Tbsp stick butter, softened

  9. 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of lightly salted boiling water as package directs.

  2. Meanwhile gently heat next 4 ingredients in a covered pan over very low heat just until garlic is soft.

  3. Remove 3/4 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta; transfer to serving bowl. Toss with oil mixture, the water and remaining ingredients.
