  1. 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

  2. 1 (2 lb) bag sauerkraut

  3. 6 slices swiss cheese

  4. 1 1/4 cups thousand island dressing

  5. 12 slices pumpernickel bread

  1. Place chicken in slow cooker.

  2. Layer sauerkraut, then salad dressing over chicken.

  3. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.

  4. Shred cooked chicken breasts with fork, and mix thoroughly with sauerkraut and dressing.

  5. Spoon onto 1 slice pumpernickel bread.

  6. Top with 1 slice swiss chesse and other slice of bread.
