  1. 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  2. 1/4 cup oil

  3. 1-1/2 cups flour

  4. 1/2 cup creamy wheat (enriched farina) hot cereal (1-min., 2-1/2-min. or 10-min. cook time), uncooked

  5. 1 Tbsp. CALUMET Baking Powder

  6. 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

  7. 1/4 tsp. salt

  8. 2 egg s

  9. 1 cup fat-free milk

  10. 2 cups chopped apple s

  11. Crumb Topping (recipe follows)

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat brown sugar and oil with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add flour, cereal, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, eggs and milk; beat on medium speed 1 min. Stir in apples.

  2. SPREAD batter in greased 9-inch round cake pan; sprinkle evenly with Crumb Topping.

  3. BAKE 35 to 40 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or chilled.
