  1. 1 lb. hamburger

  2. 2 garlic cloves, minced

  3. 1/2 small onion, minced

  4. 1/4 tsp. black pepper

  5. 2 cups instant rice

  6. 1 3/4 cups water

  7. 3 tbsp. soy sauce

  8. 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

  1. In a large skillet, brown hamburger, garlic and onion. Season with pepper. Drain fat.

  2. Add to the skillet the rice, water, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  3. Reduce heat when mixture boils, and let simmer 5 to 8 minutes on low heat or until liquid is absorbed.

  4. Stir and serve immediately.
