  1. 1 tablespoon Plus (see next ingredient) reduced calorie margarine

  2. 2 smalls Sweet apples,peeled,chopped

  3. 1/2 cup Chopped onions

  4. 1 pounds Very lean ground beef

  5. 2 teaspoons Curry powder

  6. teaspoon Garlic powder

  7. Salt and pepper to taste

  8. 2 eaches Egg whites

  9. 3/4 ounce Wheat germ

  10. 3/4 cup Tomato sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Cook onion and apple in margarine until onion is lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients EXCEPT ½ cup of the tomato sauce, shape into a loaf and place on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Top with remaining tomato sauce. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour.
