  1. 3 cloves garlic , peeled

  3. 1 cup loosely packed fresh basil

  4. 3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  5. 1/2 cup olive oil

  1. Mash garlic salt together with mortar and pestle to form a paste. Add a few basil leaves at a time and continue mashing into a paste until all of the leaves have been Incorporated. Slowly blend in the lemon juice and olive oil. OR Mince together in a food processor the garlic, salt and basil. Then add the lemon juice and oil through the feed tube while the machine is running.
