  1. 1 Onion - md, chopped

  2. 1 Garlic - minced

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Olive oil

  4. 13 oz 369g Clams - minced,

  5. 2 cns

  6. g Tomato paste - 1

  7. 1 cup 237ml Water

  8. 2 tablespoons 30ml Lemon juice

  9. 1 tablespoon 15ml Fresh parsley - chopped

  10. 1 teaspoon 5ml Sugar

  11. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Rosemary

  12. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Thyme - ground

  1. Sauteethe onion and garlic in the oil in medium skillet, add the clams and their juice, the tomato paste, water, lemon juice, parsley, sugar, rosemary and thyme.

  2. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Serve over cooked linguine or other pasta (8 oz) with grated Parmesan Cheese, if desired.
