  1. 6 boneless center cut pork chops

  2. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  3. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  4. 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

  5. 3 small onions , thinly sliced

  6. 1/2 cup water

  7. 2 tablespoons light brown sugar

  8. 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

  1. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.

  2. Cook pork chops in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes on each side or until browned.

  3. Drain.

  4. Add Onions, and remaining ingredients to skillet.

  5. Cover, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
