  1. 4-liter cans green mussels

  2. Â 3/4 c vinegar

  3. 4 tbsps soy sauce

  4. 3 cloves garlic, pounded

  5. Â 1/2 tsp peppercorns, pounded

  6. 2 pc bell peppers, sliced

  7. Wash and clean mussels, removing beard. Stir in a pan and remove flesh

  8. from the shell. Saute garlic and bell pepper. Add mussel meat. Stir.

  9. Add soy sauce, vinegar and pepper; cover and let cook for 3 minutes.

  10. Stir occasionally. The adobo is done when the mussels are tender

  11. and sauce has been reduced.
