  1. 2 tb Olive oil

  2. 1 Garlic clove minced

  3. 1 Can Italian Tomatoes

  4. 1 Can Tomato Paste

  7. 1/2 ts Dried Oregano

  8. 1 Whole Bay Leaf

  9. 1 c Chopped onion

  10. 1 lb Ground beef

  11. 1 Can Tomato sauce

  12. 15 oz

  13. 2 tb Chopped Italian parsley

  14. 1 ts Dried Basil

  15. 1/4 ts Black pepper

  16. 5 min. Add the garlic; saute

  17. 1 min. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring to crumble meat; drain off fat; add to the onion mixture. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce,

  18. 1 tomato sauce can filled with water, the tomato paste, parsley,

  19. 1 tsp salt, the basil, oregano, pepper, and bay leaf. Heat over medium-low heat to simmering. Simmer, uncovered, over low heat, stirring occasionally until sauce is thickened and flavorful, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
