  3. 2 medium onion

  4. 2 medium pepper green

  5. 2 tablespoons garlic clove minced

  6. 1 celery stalk

  7. 1/2 cup carrots -- cubed

  8. 15 ounces black beans canned

  9. 3 teaspoons chili powder

  10. 8 ounces v

  11. 8 juice

  12. 8 ounces canned chilies

  1. In a skillet over medium high heat, bring broth to simmering; add chopped onions and bell peppers and garlic.

  2. Cover and steam 3 minutes. Spoon into slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients.

  3. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until stew thickens.

  4. Serve over baked potato, rice or pasta.
