  1. 1/4 cup corn oil

  2. 3/4 cup corn syrup

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1/2 cup milk

  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  6. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  7. 3 cups graham cracker or cake crumbs

  8. 1- 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  9. 2 tablespoons Argo or Kingsford's Cornstarch

  1. Instructions Pour the corn oil in a mixing bowl, add the corn syrup and egg well beaten and stir in the milk, vanilla, cornstarch and crumbs, with the baking powder and salt. Transfer to a mould rubbed with corn oil, cover closely and steam for an hour and three quarters. Serve with Lemon Sauce or Fluffy Fruit Sauce.
