  1. 1 pounds Vermicelli

  2. 1 medium Onion -- chopped

  3. 2 tablespoons Olive Oil pounds Ground Beef

  4. 35 ounces Can Italian Plum Tomatoes -- undrained

  5. 6 ounces Can Tomato Paste Salt And Pepper

  6. 1 tablespoon Sugar cup Fresh Basil -- chopped -or-

  7. 2 tablespoons Dried Basil

  8. 6 ounces Feta Cheese -- crumbled

  1. Saute the onion in the olive oil over medium heat, then add the ground beef and saute until meat is browned and broken up. Add the tomatoes and tomato paste. Mix well, then add the salt, pepper, sugar, and basil and let simmer. Add the cheese to the sauce just before serving. Recipe By :
