  1. Lollipop Sugar Cookies

  2. 2/3 cup butter flavor shortening

  3. 3/4 cup sugar

  4. 1 tbsp. milk

  5. 1 tsp. milk

  6. 1 tsp. Vanilla

  7. 2 cup flour

  8. 1 egg

  9. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  10. 1/4 tsp salt

  11. 24 ice cream sticks

  12. Cream the shortening, sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl until

  13. well blended. Beat in the egg. Combine the flour, baking powder

  14. and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  15. 375. Shape dough into balls about 1-1/2 inches.

  16. Push stick into the center of the dough. Place the dough parallel

  17. 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten to

  18. 1/2 inch with

  19. 375 for 8-10 minutes.

  20. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Place on wire rack to finish

  21. cooling.
