  2. CHOCOLATE MARBLE PRALINE CHEESECAKE

  8. 1 package DH Golden Sugar Cookie Mix

  9. 1 Egg

  10. 1/2 cup Finely chopped pecans*

  11. --FILLING--

  12. 1 1/4 cup Frimly packed brown sugar

  13. 2 tablespoon Flour

  14. 3 package (8oz) cream cheese -- softened

  15. 3 Eggs -- lightly beaten

  16. 1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

  17. 1 ounce Unsweetened chocolate -- melted

  18. 25 Pecan halves

  19. Caramel flavor topping (opt.)

  20. For added flavor,toast pecans before chopping.

  21. 350 F oven for minutes or until fragrant. Cool completely.

  22. 1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  23. 2. FOR CRUST: combine cookie mix, contents of buttery flavor packet from Mix,

  24. 1 egg and chopped pecans in large bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended. Press

  25. 9-inch springform pan. Bake at

  26. 20-22 minutes or until edge is light brown and center is set. Remove from

  27. oven.

  28. 3. FOR FILLING: Combine brown sugar and flour in small bowl; set aside. Place

  29. cream cheese in large bowl.

  30. Beat at low speed with electric mixer, adding brown sugar mixture gradually.

  31. Remove one cup of batter to small bowl, add melted chocolate. Pour remaining

  32. plain batter onto warm crust. Drop spoonfuls of chocolate batter over plain

  33. batter. Run knife through batters to marble. Arrange pecan halves around top

  34. edge.

  35. 350 F for 45-55 minutes or until set. Loosen cake from sides of pan

  36. with knife or spatula. Cool completely on rack. Refrigerate 2 hours or until

  37. ready to serve.

  38. 4. To serve, remove sides of pan. Glaze top of cheesecake with store bought

  39. caramel flavor topping.

  40. Cut into slices and serve with additional caramel flaovor topping, if desired.
