  1. 1 pint button mushrooms (or you can use regular white mushroom caps sliced.) 3 tablespoons olive oil 4 tablespoons or half stick of butter 1 clove garlic thinly sliced splash of red cooking wine to taste(approximately 1 tablespoon) terriaki sauce to taste (approximately 1 to 2 tablespoons) garlic salt to taste fresh ground pepper to taste (I have always made this recipe without any given measurements so I am only giving approximates. You can add more of less of an ingredient to your particular taste)

  1. In a large saucepan heat olive oil and butter. Once butter has started to melt add mushrooms. Add each addtional ingredient stirring occasionaly. Taste as you go to ensure it is to your liking. Once mushrooms and sauce begin to cook reduce heat to low and simmer until mushrooms are tender but not soggy. Serve over grilled steak. Also excellent over baked potatoes.
