  1. 3/4 cup(s) Peanut butter , Jiffy

  2. 1/2 cup(s) crisco , I prefer the butter flavored on this recipe

  3. 1 1/4 cup(s) light brown sugar

  4. 3 tablespoon(s) whole milk

  5. 1 tablespoon(s) vanilla

  6. 1 large egg

  7. 1 3/4 cup(s) flour (all purpose)

  8. 3/4 teaspoon(s) salt

  9. 3/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda

  1. Heat oven to 375*

  2. Mix peanut butter, shortening, sugar, and vanilla in bowl.

  3. Next, add egg. Mix well.

  4. then add flour, salt and baking soda.

  5. Mix til rough dough shape forms.

  6. You should be able to drop dough from a spoon onto greased baking pan.

  7. Take a fork and press across cookies to flatten out.

  8. Cook 7-8 minutes depending on your oven .

  9. Cool before moving to wire rack or wax paper.

  10. Store in lid tight containers to keep fresh.
