  1. 1 ea Onion; Large, Finely Chopped

  2. 1 T Ground Red Chiles

  3. 1/4 t Ground Red Pepper

  4. 1 ea Ancho Chile; *

  5. 1 T Vegetable Oil

  6. 1 c Orange Juice

  7. 1/2 c Lime Juice

  8. 2 T Sugar

  9. 2 T Lemon Juice

  10. 1 T Fresh Cilantro; Snipped

  11. 1 t Salt

  1. Ancho chile should be seeded and finely chopped. ~—— ~– Cook onion, ground red chiles, red pepper and ancho chile in oil, stirring frequently, until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes about 2 1/3 cups of sauce.
