  1. 10 oz 284g Pork - cubed Sunflower oil Sweet and Sour Sauce

  2. 1/2 Onion

  3. 1 Garlic

  4. 2 Knobs ginger

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml White or malt vinegar

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Tbsp sugar (large)

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  8. 1 tablespoon 15ml Flour

  9. 1 tablespoon 15ml Tomato ketchup

  10. 1/2 Mug of water Batter

  11. 3 tablespoons 45ml Flour

  12. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  13. 1 Salt

  1. Recipe Instructions To make the batter whisk the flour, water and salt together until smooth (no lumps). To make the sauce heat 1 tbs of oil in a hot wok, add the garlic, onion and the ginger and stir. Add the vinegar, tomato ketchup, sugar and water and bring to the boil. Add the flour and salt to thicken. Heat the sunflower oil in a pan. Dip each cube of pork in the batter and fry until golden brown, remove and drain Finally pour the sauce onto the pork and serve with boiled rice (carrots optional).
