  1. 1 kgs boneless meat fillets

  2. 4 onions finely sliced

  3. 3 pieces ginger

  4. 12 garlic flakes

  5. 4 dry figs (anjeer), soaked for 1/2 hour

  6. 6 kacharis soked for 1/2 hours

  7. 2 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1/2 tsp ground garam masala

  9. 8 cloves

  10. 1 cup oil

  11. 150 g almonds, soaked, blanched and peeled

  12. 2 cups yoghurt

  13. Salt to taste

  1. Grind ginger, garlic, anjeer, kacharis, cili and garam masala to a fine paste. Remove and mix with yoghurt and salt.

  2. Marinate meat fillets in the above mixture for 4 to 5 hours.

  3. heat oil in a wok and fry onions till golden brown. Remove.

  4. Add cloves and marinated pieces in oil. Keep stirring occasionally. Do not allow meat to burn from the bottom. Cook till oil separates.

  5. Sprinkle fried onions and almonds. Serve hot.
