  1. 2 lbs. stewing beef with bones, cubed and cooked

  2. 20 oz. pkg. frozen Italian vegetables

  3. 1 clove garlic

  4. 1/2 c. celery, sliced

  5. 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped

  6. 1 tbsp. olive oil

  1. Stir fry the above for about 5 minutes. Add the rest of the items. Cook about 15 minutes. Then add rice or pasta and cook 20 minutes more.

  2. can tomatoes 1/2 c. red wine 6 c. water 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. parsley 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. basil 1 bay leaf 2 beef bouillon cubes 1/2 c. rice or pasta You may add extra vegetables to suit your taste. Garnish with fresh grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
