  1. 1/2 cup 118ml Protein powder

  2. 1/8 cup 29ml Vital wheat gluten

  3. 1 tablespoon 15ml Soy flour

  4. 1 Salt

  5. 1 Egg

  6. 1/8 cup 29ml Water

  1. Mix first 4 ingredients together in bowl. In a separate bowl, slightly beat egg and and water. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients and mix well to get a bread-type dough. Roll out thin and cut into strips, like fettuccini, or pinch off into little pieces (for spaetzel).

  2. Drop into boiling water. Let boil 1 to 2 minutes -- watch carefully and do not overboil as strips may become gummy. Drain well, butter if you like, and top with your favorite low-carb sauce.

  3. This recipe yields 2 servings; 7 carb grams per serving.
