  6. 1 t Marjoram leaves

  7. 1 t Thyme leaves

  8. 1 tb Chives --

  9. 1 pieces

  10. 1 t Applemint -- chopped

  11. 4 tb Butter, unsalted

  12. 1 tb Flour, all-purpose

  13. 6 c Water

  14. 1 t Salt

  15. pn Pepper, black

  16. 3 Egg yolks

  17. 1 tb Sour cream

  18. 3 Rolls, hard -- cut in half,

  19. -toasted

  20. 2 tablespoons butter for minutes. Sprinkle with flour, then stir and cook

  21. another 4 minutes. Set aside.

  22. Pour 6 cups of water into a pot and bring to a slow

  23. simmer. Add salt and pepper.

  24. Mix egg yolks, sour cream and remaining butter; whip

  25. into the simmering soup. Cook soup over low heat,

  26. stirring, until it thickens. Add herbs and simmer

  27. another few minutes.

  28. Place half of a toasted roll in a soup plate and ladle soup over it.
