  1. 1 lb Ground beef

  2. 1 tb Chili powder

  3. 1 cl Garlic, minced

  4. 1/2 ts Salt

  5. 1/2 c Chopped onion

  6. 3 c Prepared white sauce

  7. 1/2 ts Ground sage

  8. 1/2 ts Oregano

  9. 1/2 ts Ground cumin

  10. 2 tb Chopped mild green chiles

  11. 2 c Grated cheddar cheese

  12. 2 Tomatoes, chopped

  13. 12 White flour tortillas

  14. 1/2 Head iceberg lettuce, shred -ded

  1. Brown ground beef and drain. Add chili powder, garlic, salt and onion. Combine white sauce (thick is good - typist’s note), sage, oregano, cumin, and chiles. Simmer over very low heat until warm. Reserve 1 cup sauce and 1 cup grated cheese. Mix remaining sauce and cheese with meat, lettuce and tomatoes. Place this mixture in the tortillas, roll and place seam side down in a flat ungreased baking sheet. Top with reserved sauce and cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350F for 15 minutes. PS… these are GOOD!!!
