  1. 2 cups fisher's blend pastry flour

  2. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  3. 1 cup sugar

  4. 1/2 cup riverview butter

  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  6. 1/2 cup riverview milk

  7. 4 egg whites

  1. Preparation : Sift flour and baking powder 3 times. Cream sugar and butter thoroughly, add flavoring, then flour and milk alternately. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in two large layer cake tins in a moderate oven (375 F) 20 to 25 minutes. Spread with Caramel filling.
