  1. 125g butter, chopped

  2. 90g dark eating chocolate, chopped coarsely

  3. 90g milk eating chocolate, chopped coarsely

  4. cup (110g) firmly packed brown sugar

  5. 2 tablespoons honey

  6. 2 eggs, beaten lightly

  7. 1 cup (150g) plain flour

  8. 2/3 cup (100g) macadamia nuts, chopped coarsely

  1. Preheat oven to moderate. Grease deep 19cm-square cake pan; cover base with baking paper.

  2. Combine butter and chocolate in medium saucepan; stir over low heat until melted. Remove from heat; stir in sugar and honey. Stir in egg, then sifted flour and nuts; pour mixture into prepared pan.

  3. Bake in moderate oven about 30 minutes or until firm. Cool in pan; cut into squares when cold.
