    2. 2 chickens (broilers), cut in halves

    3. 5 ears corn, off the cob

    4. 3 green peppers, seeded, chopped

    5. 4 onions, peeled, sliced

    6. 1 cup cream

    7. 3 cups water

    8. Seasonings to taste

    1. Put all ingredients, except the cream, in a stew pan.

    2. Bring to the boil; then lower heat and cover.

    3. Simmer gently for about 35 minutes.

    4. Stir in the cream.

    5. Return to the boil and cook for 2 or 3 minutes.

    6. Serve.
