  5. 1/3 cup peanut oil

  6. 1 egg

  7. 1 teaspoon almond extract

  8. 24 blanched almonds

  1. Preparation : sift together flour, sugar, salt, and ground almonds add oil, eggs, and almond extract-mix well rollout to a thickness of 1/4-inch cut into 1-1/2 inch rounds arrange onto a parchment-lined baking sheet press a whole almond into the center of each bake @ 375 degrees for 15 minutes remove from oven and allow to cool serve at room temperature
