  1. 1 tablespoon 15ml Sesame oil - (to 2 tbspns)

  2. 1 Fresh ginger - (quarter-size) - minced

  3. 1 Garlic clove - minced

  4. 6 cups 1422ml Chicken broth

  5. 1/2 Scallions - sliced

  6. 1 Cilantro - stems removed

  7. 2 cups 474ml Broken-up vermicelli Lemon wedges

  1. Recipe Instructions Saute ginger and garlic in sesame oil for a few seconds. Add broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta and simmer 5 minutes or until done. Add scallion and cilantro and serve. Let each person garnish their portion with fresh lemon at last minute so as not to discolor green of soup. This recipe yields 4 servings.
