  5. 1/2 cup chicken stock

  6. 1/2 cup dry white wine

  7. 1/2 cup evaporated milk

  8. 1/4 cup shredded asiago cheese

  9. 1/4 cup romano cheese

  10. 1 tsp garlic powder

  11. 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  12. 1/2 tsp salt

  13. 1 tsp pepper

  14. 12 oz frozen broccoli florets, thawed

  1. Description:

  2. Won't weigh you down like a traditional Alfredo!

  3. STEP 1:

  4. Prepare a box of linguine according to the directions on the box, minus 1 minute, saving a ½ cup of pasta water.

  5. STEP 2:

  6. Meanwhile, in a large pan add the butter and melt over medium high heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for a minute.

  7. STEP 3:

  8. Slowly whisk in the chicken stock and cook for another minute. Then whisk in the wine and cook for another minute.

  9. STEP 4:

  10. Reduce the heat to medium, and add the rest of the ingredients, stirring well.

  11. STEP 5:

  12. Once the linguine is ready, add it to the pan along with the pasta water. Toss until well combined and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce coats the pasta.
