  1. 2 acorn squash, about 1 lb. each 2 tart apples

  2. 1 1/2 cups maple syrup

  3. 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

  4. 1/4 cup butter

  5. 1/4 cup cornstarch

  6. 1 tsp. cinnamon

  7. 1/2 tsp. ginger

  8. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

  9. Butter

  1. H alve squash and remove seeds. Place cut side down in greased baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool and peel. Cut into 1/2 inch slices and spread on bottom of baking dish (9 x 13 inches).

  2. Pare and thinly slice apple; arrange over squash.

  3. Sprinkle amonds and raisins over apples.

  4. In a saucepan, combine syrup, lenmon juice, butter, cornstarch and spices. Cook stirring until thickened. Pour over squash and apples. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until tender.
