  1. Lamb pieces 1/2 kg.

  2. Coconut milk 1 cup

  3. Ginger 1( inch) piece

  4. Garlic 6 cloves

  5. Chilli Powder 2 tsp.

  6. Cumin Powder 1 tsp.

  7. Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp.

  8. Onion 1

  9. Large, roughly chopped

  10. Vinegar 1/2 cup

  11. Salt to taste

  12. Oil 3 tbsp

  1. Grind ginger, garlic, chilli powder, turmeric powder and the roughly chopped onion in one tablespoon of vinegar .Marinate the lamb pieces in this paste for 1 hour.

  2. Heat oil in a deep sauce pan, add the marinated lamb pieces, stir and cook for 5 minutes.

  3. Add rest of the vinegar, salt and 1 cup of coconut milk , cook covered on low heat, stirring occasionally until the meat is tender.
