  1. 2 c butter

  2. 4 c flour

  3. 2 tsps baking soda

  4. 2 c sugar

  5. 5 c oatmeal

  6. 24 ozs chocolate chips

  7. 2 c brown sugar

  8. 1 tsp salt

  9. 1 Hershey Bar -- grated

  10. 4 eggs

  11. 2 tsps baking powder

  12. 3 c nuts -- chopped

  13. 2 tsps vanilla

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Measure the oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
