  1. 1 onion

  2. butter for frying onions

  3. 5 potatoes

  4. oil for deep frying potatoes

  5. 8 eggs

  6. 200ml milk

  7. salt and pepper

  8. 3 tablespoons olive oil

  1. Slice the onions thinly and fry in butter - set aside.

  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into rounds (not too thin or thick - less than 1cm).

  3. Deep fry the potatoes until you get undercooked c- set aside.

  4. Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper with a fork - set aside. (do not overbeat!)

  5. In a the onions' frying pan, heat some extra olive oil and mix in the potato chips.

  6. Make sure the potatoes are lying flat, then pour the egg mixture over into the frying pan.

  7. To remove from pan, flip again onto final dish. Slice and serve hot or cold!
