  1. 12 (1kg) banana chillies

  2. 350g fresh baby corn

  3. 1 large bunch green onions (green shallots), trimmed

  4. 2 teaspoons sesame oil

  5. 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted Note: the vegetables are best cooked just before serving.

  1. Cook the chillies on a heated oiled barbecue (or griddle pan or pan-fry), until browned on both sides and tender.

  2. Add corn and green onions, barbecue until browned and just tender. Transfer the vegetables to a platter.

  3. Drizzle vegetables with sesame oil and sprinkle with the seeds before serving.

  4. Not suitable to freeze. Not suitable to microwave.
