  1. 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken thighs , or breasts if you prefer.

  2. 1/2 c. cornstarch

  3. 1/2 c. mochiko rice flour

  4. 1/2 c. sugar

  5. 3/4 c. soy sauce ( Aloha brand or Yamasa)

  6. 3 eggs

  7. 4 cloves garlic crushed

  8. 1 inch piece ginger grated or 1 tbs ginger powder

  9. 1 bunch green onions

  10. sesame seeds optional

  11. Vegitable oil for frying

  1. Wash and cut chicken into squares.

  2. Chop green onion into thin rings.

  3. Mix all ingredient EXCEPT oil into a large mixing bowl. Should resemble a pancake batter.

  4. Add chopped chicken to this batter and marinate for 4 hrs or best if over night.

  5. In large frying pan add about and inch or so of veggie oil .

  6. When oil is hot, drop the battered chicken pieces in and fry till golden and cooked.

  7. Sprinkle with Sesame seeds if desired.

  8. Usually served over white rice, over a bed of chopped cabbage.
