  1. 675g fresh tuna steaks, finely chopped

  2. 55g dry breadcrumbs

  3. 4 tablespons finely chopped spring onions

  4. 4 tablespoons grated carrot

  5. 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh root ginger

  6. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander

  7. 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  8. 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

  9. 1 tablespoon light soy sauce

  10. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  11. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  12. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  13. 1 egg, beaten

  14. 6 burger buns

  15. 6 lettuce leaves, rinsed and dried

  16. 2 medium tomatoes, sliced

  1. Preheat the grill.

  2. With the tuna mixture, form 6 equal-sized burgers. Place the burgers onto a grill pan and grill for 4 minutes per side. Serve the tuna burger in the burger buns with lettuce and tomato.

  3. Mix the tuna, breadcrumbs, spring onions, carrot, ginger, coriander, sesame oil, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, cumin, salt, pepper and egg in a large bowl. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
