  1. 6 tablespoons butter or margarine

  2. 1/3 cup plus 2 teaspoons light brown sugar -- packed

  3. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  4. 1/4 cup heavy cream

  5. 4 firm medium bananas -- peeled & cut in --

  6. 1/4" slices

  7. 1/4 cup brandy or rum

  8. 6 scoops vanilla ice cream -- prescooped and -- frozen

  1. Preparation : 1. Melt butter in 9-inch round glass baking dish on HIGH about 30 seconds.

  2. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon and heavy cream; microwave on HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, until slightly thickened; set aside.

  3. At serving time, reheat on HIGH about 1 minute; add bananas, stirring to coat. Microwave on HIGH about 30 seconds.

  4. Heat brandy in glass measure about 30 seconds; pour over bananas.

  5. Ignite with long match; spoon over ice cream.
