  1. Nonstick cooking spray - or butter

  2. 1 1/2 cups 93g / 3 1/3oz Cake flour

  3. 1 1/3 cups 263g / 9 1/3oz Granulated sugar

  4. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground cinnamon

  5. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground nutmeg

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground allspice

  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Baking soda

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  9. 1 cup 237ml Mashed avocados

  10. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Nonfat egg substitute (equal to 2 eggs) frozen, thawed

  11. 1/3 cup 78ml Nonfat milk

  12. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Dates - chopped

  13. Powdered sugar - (opt)

  14. Additional dates - slivered

  1. Spray a nonstick 9-inch-square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or lightly brush with butter.

  2. Sift together cake flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Blend together avocados, egg substitute and nonfat milk in small bowl. Stir into dry ingredients along with dates until blended. Spread evenly into prepared pan.

  3. Bake at 325F 30 to 35 minutes or until wood pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan. Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar. Garnish top with a few slivers of dates, if desired.
