  1. CRANBERRY COOKIES

  2. 1/2 cup sugar

  3. 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  4. 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened

  5. 2 Tbsp milk

  6. 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  7. 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  8. 1 egg

  9. 1 1/2 cup flour

  10. 1/2 tsp baking powder

  11. 1/4 tsp baking soda

  12. 1/4 tsp salt

  13. 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped

  14. 1/2 cup chopped nuts

  15. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. In large bowl,

  16. combine sugar, brown sugar and margarine; beat until light and fluffy. Add milk, lemon juice, vanilla and egg; blend well. Add

  17. flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in

  18. cranberries and nuts. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart

  19. 375 degrees for 8-12 minutes,

  20. until edges are light golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie

  21. sheets. Yield: 3 dozen
